Summary
An unfortunateElden Ringstreamer has encountered a bug that causes theShadow of the Erdtree’s final boss to spawn a second version of themselves.
Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC has been out for a little over a week nowand, while it had a bit of a rocky startdue to some players finding it more challenging than they expected, it seems thatmost people have finally gotten the hang of it. That means that even more Elden Ring fans are getting to the expansion’s final boss andexperiencing just how challenging they are.
Spoiler alert for the identity of Shadow of the Erdtree’s final boss below.
Shadow of the Erdtree’s main quest is already a hell of a challenge (which you should find manageable if you haven’t been ignoring Scadutree Blessings) but it all comes to a head when you reach the expansion’s final boss - Radahn, Consort of Miquella. That’s right, the finale of Elden Ring’s expansion sees thereturn of one of the base game’s toughest enemies, only this time he’s in his prime.
Elden Ring’s Final Boss Is Tough Enough Without Being Spawned Twice
Elden Ring players are already having a hard enough time taking down just one Radahn, so you’re able to only imagine the fear you’d feel if you had to go up against two of them at once. That’s exactly what happened to Twitch streamer MissMikkaa, though, as she was unlucky enough to run into a glitch that I’m praying isn’t a common occurrence.
As you can see from the clip shared above,MissMikkaa was approaching the finish line of a run without Scadutree Blessingsand going toe-to-toe with Radahn, Consort of Miquella. Just as MissMikkaa is taken down by Radahn, she spins the camera around the arena and discovers that a clone of the already terrifying enemy has spawned in and started walking menacingly towards her.
Even one of the best Elden Ring players of all time, Let Me Solo Her,has admitted that even one Radahn is a hefty challenge, so god knows how they’d deal with two.
Thankfully, MissMikkaa was already dead when the second Radahn spawned in, which means she didn’t have to actually go up against two bosses at once, but it’s frightening to think it could happen to someone else. I’ve not seen the glitch replicated so far so it seems to be a one-time thing, so here’s hoping that it stays that way for the foreseeable future.
