Summary
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s current-gen update forPS5andXbox Serieshas added Super Souls to Location Lookup, finally giving players an easy way to figure out where they are.
Even though mostDragon Ballfans likely have all of theirattention squarely on Sparking Zero in the hopes that it will release this year, that hasn’t stopped other DBZ games from some exciting updates. The most recent of these is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 which, alongside a new Future Saga DLC that adds new characters, hasfinally received a current-gen update for PS5 and Xbox Series.
This update adds some noteworthy improvements to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, including improving its loading times, model quality, and general performance. That’s not all, though, as the update also adds some neat quality-of-life improvements, including finally giving players a way to easily locate Super Souls.
Xenoverse 2’s Location Lookup Just Got A Big Improvement
A while ago, Xenoverse 2 added a feature called Location Lookup that let players jump into the menu and quickly find out how to unlock specific Super Attacks. It was a handy mechanic considering how many of them are in the game, and it’s one that’s been improved over time by adding costume pieces and other unlockables.
Now,as pointed out by Twitter user TheRechow, Location Lookup has been updated to tell players how to find Super Souls. For those that don’t know, Super Souls are another type of equipment in Xenoverse 2 that activate special effects under specific conditions like losing a certain amount of health.
They’re very helpful across the board but, considering how many of them there are in Xenoverse 2 and how they’re all unlocked in different missions or within the Item Shop, they can be a bit difficult to track down. With this new mechanic, you can now easily figure out their location and go from there.
To access Location Lookup, all you need to do is go into the pause menu, open the Bag, and then select the feature. You’ll then be able to see each Super Soul (including ones you haven’t unlocked) and Xenoverse 2 will tell you where you can find them. If, like me, you’re coming back to the game after some time away, it’s a super helpful feature that makes the grind a lot easier.
Of course, actuallygettingthe Super Soul can sometimes be up to luck, so the grind isn’t completely gone if you’re into that.
