Summary
The latest trailer forDragon Ball: Sparking Zerohas given us a look at all of the game’s Fusion fighters, including Gogeta, Vegito, Fused Zamasu, Gotenks, and Kefla.
Although it feels like we’ve had plenty ofcharacter reveal trailers for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero over the last few months(all of which have ended with the infamous “Wishlist Now” message), there are still a ton of fighters who haven’t been shown off. That was just remedied a little with a brand-new trailer that focused on Fusion fighters.
We’ve known for a few weeks now that Fusion characters would be featured in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zerothanks to Gotenks and Kefla being revealed in the latest issue of V-Jump, but the Sparking Zero trailer also revealed three brand-new characters that are some of the most heavily requested by fans - Gogeta, Vegito, and Fused Zamasu.
Gotenks, Kefla, Gogeta And Vegito Are Coming To Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero
The trailer kicked things off by showing Kid Trunks, Goten, Caulifla, and Kalefighting against each other at the Tenkaichi Budokai, which gave us a good look at their moves and Super Saiyan forms. Of course, since these characters are known for fusing, it wasn’t long until the trailer ramped up and gave us a look at Gotenks and Kale.
That doesn’t come as a surprise considering that they were all featured in the latest issue of V-Jump, but there was one big surprise in store as Gogeta, Vegito, and Fused Zamasu were all revealed as well. Gogeta appears to be based on the version of the character that was in Dragon Ball Super: Broly instead of his non-canon Dragon Ball Z appearance, while Vegito also appears to be from his Super incarnation.
Both fighters are shown being able to transform into Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan Blue, which they use to face off against each other and against Fused Zamasu, who was also confirmed to be playable. We didn’t get to see as much of his moveset as we did for Gogeta and Vegito, but it’s nice to see him confirmed.
This also acts as confirmation that Goku Black and Zamasu will be playable in Sparking Zero. It’s strange to think that we’ve gone so long without seeing them, but if their Fusion is playable then you can count them in as well.
The new trailer ends by confirming that our next look at Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will be at Summer Game Fest in a few weeks, which hopefully means that we’ll be getting a big reveal. Fingers crossed that we finally get a release date.
