Summary
Disney Villainousis a wildly popular board game that has expanded into the worlds ofMarvelandStar Warsin recent years. As the name of the game suggests, the traditional Disney way of always rooting for the heroes is turned on its head as players are given the chance to assume the roles of some of their favorite villains instead. In an attempt to get even more people playing Villainous, Ravensburgerannounced plans to start releasing something it has dubbed expandalones, and the first of those on the Disney side of things, Sugar and Spite, is now available to pre-order.
The Sugar and Spite expandalone is not only an expansion for any pre-existing Disney Villainous items you already own, but also a Villainous game that can be played all by itself even if you don’t have any of the previously released sets. The only limitation is only two people can play at once as opposed to the traditional four. Sugar and Spite adds two new baddies and their corresponding worlds to the growing Disney Villainous collection - King Candy from Wreck-It Ralph, and Shere Khan from The Jungle Book.

Target is the first retailer to have Sugar and Spite available for pre-order ahead of the expandalone’s release on June 9. That’s because the version of the tabletop game you’re able to get at Target is a little different from the regular version that will be sold elsewhere. When bought at Target through the link in the box below, Sugar and Spite will come with a special candy bar sleeve, and the King Candy figure included will have an exclusive finish.

Disney Villainous: Sugar And Spite
Introducing King Candy and Shere Khan to Disney Villainous, this first ‘expandalone’ features two characters ready to play straight out the box, or played against any other villain in the Disney Villainous lineup.
For those unfamiliar with how exactly Villainous works, each player picks their villain and progresses through their corresponding world, each attempting to complete the mission they’ve been given simultaneously. King Candy’s goal is to beat Vanellope von Schweetz in a Sugar Rush Race, while Shere Khan will take his Jungle-book based fight to Mowgli in an attempt to prove that, despite what happened in the movie, the big cat is still the king of the jungle.
After Disney Villainous gets its first expandalone in June,Star Wars will follow suit via Revenge At Last in July. Similar to Sugar and Spite, Revenge At Last will introduce two villains to Star Wars Villainous and can be played with other sets, or it can be played alone with just two players. Darth Maul and Captain Phasma are the two villains being added to Star Wars Villainous via the expandalone which will be released on July 21.
