Luckily, the season pass will also help you to earn better gear with ahigher power level,just in case you want tochallenge some of the harder content.If you’re just here to shoot some aliens and have fun, these simple goals will give you a way to track your overall progress.
6Switch Characters To Unlock Prismatic
Once you complete the story on your main character, you should take a few moments to complete the Transmigration mission andunlock your Prismatic subclass on each character,even if you stick to one over the other two.
It’s helpful to have the flexibility to tackle a difficult challenge differently by switching to another character.
Hunter, Warlock, and Titan each have powerful new Super abilities that offer distinct combinations from any other class. Prismatic brings an entirely new perspective with powerful combinations of Light and Darkness abilities to use in tandem.

Seasonal Challenges are an excellent way to earnXP and Bright Dustto accelerate your season pass level-ups. These challenges are another fantastic way to guide your play sessions with clear goals on an easy-to-read checklist.
The rewards aren’t great, but Seasonal Challenges can often be completed organically if you choose to follow the stories released every week. Unlike prior seasons, The Final Shape introduced a new way to engage with thestory and complete objectives: Echoes.
3Complete Echoes As They Release
Echoes replace the prior seasonal model, offering three acts of concentrated story beats to keep you engaged throughout the episode.
You canfinish objectives and earn upgrades as you complete Echoeseach weekly reset.
If you want to continue engaging with the Destiny 2 story, but don’t have much interest in grinding gear or power levels, then this path will offer you a reason to check back in every week. The stories in Echoes will tie up any loose ends and lingering questions, so there’s plenty of closure to look forward to.
2Do Exotic Quests
Destiny 2 is a looter shooter, so why not spend your time hunting for some ofthe new guns released in The Final Shape? From new powerhouses like Still Hunt to old favorites like Khvostov, Exotic quests are back in a big way, with several guns to earn.
These missions can be done alone or with friends, so they present a great way to play for any group.Still Huntis one of the best weapons to bring to Salvation’s Edge or the Excision mission, so completing the relatively short set of objectives to get it will be a fantastic time investment.
1Grind Bright Dust Via Pathfinder
Once you’ve exhausted every story, Exotic quest, seasonal challenge, and earned everything you want, head to the Pale Heart, where you can finally play the game. Pathfinder gives you a set of tasks to complete toform a path to the final reward node.
You’ll receive excellent rewards, likeBright Dust, XP, Ghost Reputation Ranks, and theErgo SumExotic.Pathfinder is a great way to make incremental progress without committing to a long activity. Whatever it helps you achieve, Pathfinder is one of the best ways for casual and veteran Guardians to enjoy Destiny 2: The Final Shape.
