Originally released in 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 experienced a disastrous launch. The game was rife with bugs and missing features, and at one point, was evenremoved entirely from the PlayStation Store. However, in the time since then, developer CD Projekt Red continued to improve the game through multiple patches and a next-gen update. Now, the reviews on Steam are showcasing the turnaround.

‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ Has CDPR Celebrating
Taking a look at Steam, 95 percent of the 7,079 user reviews filed in the last 30 days are positive. This is what has led to the overall “Overwhelmingly Positive” classification. In other words, a touch over 6,700 users believe this game is amazing.
As for the game as a whole, 83 percent of the 650,793 reviews filed by users at the time of writing are considered positive, making Cyberpunk 2077 a “Very Positive” title as per Steam’s designations.

Cyberpunk 2077 Is Worth Exploring
If the designation of “Overwhelmingly Positive” isn’t enough, then take it from the users themselves. Little Raven, who has over 500 hours on record had nothing but positive things to say in their review.

As mentioned above, the game has received numerous patches and fixes in the time since its launch in 2020 to help bring it more in line with what was originally showcased. In late 2023, Cyberpunk 2077 launched itsPhantom Liberty expansion DLC, which helped expand the story and playable area.
