Summary
It’s been a while since we got a newCrash Bandicootgame and no, I’m not includingCrash Team Rumble, you may’t make me. The success of the Crash N.Sane Trilogy in 2017 was followed up withCrash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, a new entry in the series that ignores all of the other main entries since Warped. There is no news on what’s next, but it’s not all bad, particularly if you haven’t played all four of those games as the quadrilogy is on sale inPlayStation’s mid-year sale.
Saying the four-game bundle is on sale isn’t doing it justice. The quadrilogy has had its price slashed by 75 percent which means you can currently own all four core Crash games for just $22.49.PlayStation’s mid-year sale isn’t the only reason the games have been reduced in price. Right before the price cut,Activision Blizzardannounced the N.Sane Trilogy had sold 20 million copies. Quite the achievement, and even more reason to start on Crash 5 if work hasn’t already begun.

If you don’t want the whole bundle because you’re one of the more than 20 million people who already own the trilogy, It’s About Time is also on sale, down to less than $20. If you want a complete modern-day Crash Bandicoot experience - again, I’m not including Crash Team Rumble - there’san even bigger bundle that throws Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, the fantastic CTR remaster, in for good measure. Dubbed the Crashiversary Bundle, including CTR brings the price up to $47.99, although all those games together usually cost $120.
Crash Bandicoot Quadrilogy Bundle
WHERE TO PLAY
The Crash Bandicoot Quadrilogy Bundle combines the remastered N.Sane Trilogy which includes remasters of the original three games with Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
There’s a heck of a lot more than just Crash games in PlayStation’s mid-year sale. Almost 2,500 titles have had their prices cut by up to 80 percent and there are some heavy hitters among them.Red Dead Redemption 2’s ultimate editionis less than $30,GTA 5 is down to less than $20, perfect for anyone who was previouslyrelying on PS Plus to play it, and Crash’s Activision other half Spyro is also featured. The dragon’s Reignited Trilogy is down to just $13.99.

Outside of Sonic and Mario, there’s a very strong argument to be made that Crash and Spyro are the two most famous video game platformer leads of all time. Yes, I hear you yelling Banjo-Kazooie fans, but I’m not listening. You’d have to think a new game starring at least one of them is in the works. For now, we’ll just have to settle for their most recent games and remastered collections being heavily reduced.
