If you’ve gotten intoPax Dei, you likely already know that this is an MMO with a massive world, and in typical survival fashion, you start with absolutely nothing. You have to slowly grind your way through the game to get high-tier materials, but you’ll be consistently challenged by various enemies on your path.
You’ll also quickly realize that the best way to deal with these enemies is by keeping your distance from them, especially if you’re playing solo. The best way to do this is by crafting Bows as fast as possible.

Pax Dei is currently in Early Access, and everything mentioned in this article is subject to change.
How To Make A Fletching Table
Pax Dei has quite a detailed system when it comes to crafting, with a special skill for almost everything. The skill you need for making Bows is called Fletching, andthe same name is used for the tables you’ll require for crafting them. Here’s the full process and everything you’ll need to make a Basic Fletching Table:
Basic Fletching Table
Once you have all the resources for a Basic Fletching Table, you may head over to yourbuild menu using the hammerand place the table from the Crafting section.
How To Make Bows
Once you have the Basic Fletching Table placed, you may start crafting Bows by interacting with it. However, before you can craft a Bow, you’ll also need to create a Basic Leatherworking Table and Simple Tanning Rack. These will help you get Rawhide, which you can then use to create the items required for the Bows.
The early Bows and arrows in Pax Dei don’t deal a lot of damage, so you generallywon’t use them to fight anything except Boars and Deers. This weapon starts getting a little better with Iron Tipped Arrows, but they get their true power with high-tier bows that canonly be crafted once you make a Fletching Table(without the Basic).
