Bully turns 18 this year and despite endless rumors, the game has never been followed up on, whether that be via a remaster or a sequel. Prior reports have claimeda fully realized Bully 2was ready to go in 2009 but was never released, and more recently the game was amongmany Rockstar projects to have reportedly been canceled. Making it playable through GTA Plus might be the closest we’re ever going to get to a remaster or a sequel, and a great way to get more people signed up for the service.

GTA+

GTA Plus is a Rockstar-run subscription service that grants GTA Online players exclusive bonuses in exchange for $5.99 per month. The service also includes a selection of Rockstar games, available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Not only does that get Rockstar $5.99 per month from anyone who wants to play its classic games, but those people might also try GTA Online while they’re signed up, or return to the game if their interest has lapsed. The studio is picking up speed on the road to GTA 6 and although it might seem hype already couldn’t possibly be higher, Rockstar will want to make sure it can do all it can to get as many people interested in GTA before its new game’s arrival, especially if GTA 5’s online component is going to carry over or be connected to the new game in some way.
