Throughout Melinoe’s journey inHades 2, she will get a lot of boons from different gods. Zeus' boons, in particular, stand out as they are capable of dealing a great deal of damage to the most powerful of enemies. These boons can inflict a curse called Blitz, which constantly strikes enemies with bolts of lightning.
Zeus’s boons will appear at random, and it is important to know which ones are the best in Hades 2 if you want to succeed in your runs. You will be able to either increase their attack power or upgrade their specials through these blessings.

8Electric Overload
This passive boon offers great lightning damage. Most of Zeus' boons will allow you to use lightning strikes to damage enemies. Among these, Electric Overload is the most potent, dealing with high lightning damage along with Blitz.
Blitz itself is a very powerful curse that will strike enemies with lightning after they take 120 damage. In the early areas of runs, boons like Electric Overload are a must-pick-up. However, it might not be a good choice later on in a game when facing more powerful enemies. If you manage to get theheroic version of electric overload,you will get 25 lightning damage.
7Heaven Flourish
As mentioned before, blitz-focused boons can really elevate the overall build and add to attack damage. This is why Heaven Flourish can prove to be very useful if you want your specials to deal double damage. The blitz damage at common stands at 100, and if you manage to get the heroic Heaven Flourish boon, then you will be able to deal up to 220 blitz damage.
If the Moonstone Axe is theprimary weapon of your build, then these blitz-focused boons are a must-pick up.
No doubt, it is one of Zeus' most powerful boons. It can be paired with a heaven strike, allowing Melinoe to inflict Blitz through her attacks as well.
6Thunder Sprint
This is a Sprint Boon, and the common variant of Thunder Sprint will cause around 20 bolt damage. Also, the heroic variant will cause 35 bolt damage every 0.15 seconds. It might not be the best Sprint boon in Hades 2, but with itshigh magik restorationcapability, it can certainly help against mini-bosses and smaller enemies.
This boon is definitely a must-have for speed runners and can deal shock damage to enemies near Melinoe while Sprinting. Thunder Spirit is especially powerful against root stalkers and will allow you to beat them easily just by running around them in circles while dealing specials.
5Storm Ring
Storm Ring is undoubtedly one of the best-cast boons of Zeus. In its common variant, it can deal with up to 30 bolts of damage every 0.25 seconds. This boon is great, especially in boss battles and for dealing great amounts of damage to sturdy foes.
For the strongest build, pairing it up with Thunder Sprint, Spirit Surge, and Heaven Flourish can easily defeat game bosses and enemies alike. The epic variant of storm ring can cause around 50 damage every 0.25 seconds.
4Static Shock
This is a very powerful boon that works great against larger hordes of enemies. Using the boon will summon a chain lightning attack that will travel across the enemies, dealing greater damage. Paired with spirit surge, it can make Melinoe even more powerful.
The boon will allow you to strike enemies with lightning when you have around ten damage or less. However, for the end-game runs, consider go for other boons, especially the ones focusing on bolt or blitz damage.
3Lightning Lance
Paired with the storm ring, the Lightning Lance is a great boon to use and will make Melinoe unstoppable against end-game enemies, including Scylla and the Sirens. The right build can even help destroy Chronos. Undoubtedly, it is a very potent boon to use as it fires the cast at a range and will deal damage when it strikes the enemy.
It is best stacked with a Heaven Flourish, Ionic Gain, and Storm Ring. No matter what weapon you have equipped, the additional damage from the lightning lance will add to the cost cast to help you defeat any enemy they come across.
2Ionic Gain
Ionic Gain might not be best in giving any extra offensive power, it’s definitely one of the finest magick boons in Hades 2 and can work great in the end gameagainst powerful bosses. While it is important to pick up blitz-focused boons whenever possible, the Ionic Gain can prove to be equally beneficial for the long run as it will allow you to restore magick gradually.
The boon can be quite useful in executing specials. Additionally, if you are going for the Omega attack build, then Ionic Gain paired withElectric Overload, Lightning Glance, and Heaven Strikewill make Melinoe unstoppable.
1Divine Vengeance
The passive boon will allow the you to deal 100+ bolt damage up to two times. The epic variant allows you to deal 100+ bolt damage up to four times. Divine Vengeance can be considered as one of thebest boons for end-game runsand works great with Double Strike, Ionic Gain, and Spirit Surge.
When fighting against enemies like guardians, the boon can prove to be very useful thanks to the lightning damage. Divine Vengeance is a very rare boon, so when it shows up, it is definitely worth picking up.
