Summary
Across the many worlds inSaGa Emerald Beyond, some are arguably better than others. Whether it’s the design of the world, the story told there, or the characters that make it their home, there are different tiers to the worlds you’ll encounter. No matter what protagonist you play as, you’re sure to find some that you enjoy more than the rest.
We’ve compiled a list of all the worlds and ranked them according to how well they’re designed, the opportunities they provide, and how the people of that world interact with one another. Take a look and see where your favorite world falls!

11Capitol City
When starting your game as Formina Franklyn and Bonnie Blair, you’ll start in the metropolitan Capitol City. There are towering skyscrapers with glimmering windows. The high-energy landscape propels you forward through the narrative, though you won’t spend too long here.
Compared to the other worlds in SaGa Emerald Beyond, Capitol City is rather lacking. It does well to capture the tropical city vibes, noted by the palm trees lining the walkways, but it’s less that impressive when there are fantastical worlds that push boundaries later in the game.

10Miyako City
Miyako City offers a familiar sight, encompassing a suburban area with train stations just beyond city limits. There are traditional shrines and temples to find, as well as modern apartment complexes that mirror everyday life.
However, there are elements to Miyako City that help it stand out – specifically the doorway to the Conjoined Worlds. It offers a mystical element to the otherwise modern world, but it’s still not enough when compared to the more whimsical worlds that present themselves in SaGa Emerald Beyond’s grand adventure.

9Cinq
Cinq is quite missable, especially when playing as Ameya Aisling. If you go through the right door in the Conjoined Worlds, you’ll find yourself faced with a unique landscape that emphasizes the harmony in nature. Four sections of the map are devoted to the forest, windy fields, volcanic fire, and water, respectively.
Each area highlights these elements working together, and if it wasn’t for the war that’s tearing it all apart, it could be truly something. However, upon first arriving, you’ll find Cinq at its best with a diverse collection of temples and the ability to pilot a ship in a large body of water.

8Avalon
Avalon can best be described as a Victorian cyberpunk mix of Scotland and Paris. Between the broadcasting station that resembles the Eiffel Tower with speakers attached to it and Diva No. 5’s thick accent, this world pushes the boundaries of the previous ones to create something new.
Androids are freely accepted here in the workforce and are even idolized by the citizens. The gold embellishments promote an air of wealth while also drawing attention to the lack of vibrancy. A pop of color would lighten the mood but take away from the somber atmosphere.

7The Lost Realms
You’ll be visiting the Lost Realms regularly. No matter what name they go by, the world between worlds is stunning. There are multiple versions of it, varying from a cotton candy pink and blue mix to a copper and emerald combination.
Regardless of what they look like, the spiraling pathways that unfold emphasize the idea that you forge your own fate with the choices you make. you’re able to roam freely before making a decision on which world to enter, and having the option to ride the emerald waves gives more freedom of movement for a short time.

6Brighthome
Brighthome is a lush and colorful world. While the Dismal King may not care much for it at first, the boisterous people and lively landscape The rolling fields of white flowers offer a calming atmosphere, but the reality is that the land of the dead is not ideal for someone that still wants to live.
The ancient-looking buildings are surrounded by the vibrant green grass, which makes them look empty and hollow. It all pairs well together to create a world that looks like it should be full of life, but in reality is more like the void between life and death.

5Great Tree
Technically located under Capitol City, the Great Tree is a massive jungle filled with lush greenery, overflowing waterfalls, and protective wildlife. Pools of vibrant blue water gather together, one spilling over into the next as you scour the tangling vines to reach the top. YOur first visit here is cut short by several fights when in pursuit of a suspect with Bonnie and Formina.
The atmosphere here is lively despite the lack of human presence. Instead, powerful snakes and territorial wolves inhabit this area and defend it fiercely. Be careful when traversing through this world!

4Yomi
The Dismal King’s domain is a love letter to Gothic architecture and aesthetics. Rich, dark colors mold this world into a ghastly and romantic world of passion inhabited by several of the seven deadly sins. Each is considered a Warden that guards the world of the immortal vampire king, and the denizens fear and love him.
This world stands out from the others greatly, offering a variety of boss fights to engage with as well as a strong narrative about a world left in disarray after the king disappears.

3Grelon
Grelon is a world you’ll visit often, and for good reason. The world here is immersive and requests your help regularly. There are puzzles to solve, NPCs to help, and a mystery that has several endings based on your choices.
You’ll have the most freedom in this world, filled with snowy mountains, icy slopes, and a cable car that will transport you around the map. No matter who you arrive as, you’ll be able to change the outcome of the frozen towns by thawing out different NPCs in different orders every time.

2Delta Base
Delta Base includes some of the most content in the game. Whether you want to help the green division with their biological experiments, fight alongside the red division, or examine relics with the yellow division, you’re in for a real treat.
You can also learn more about other worlds here from the data compiled. This sci-fi inspired world steps out of the usual fantasy-inspired ones to create a calculating and methodical culture or researchers and engineers that are, most likely, searching for the answer to immortality.
