Summary
Hoppers are a great end-game addition that can take yourStardew Valley farmto the next level. After finding at least 100 Golden Walnuts, you’ll be able to accessQi’s Walnut Room. After completing some challenges, you can buy both theHopperand the Hopper Recipe.
A Hopper can be bought for 10 Qi Gems, and the recipe can be bought for 50 Qi Gems. This item can be crafted using ten Hardwood, one Iridium Bar, and one Radioactive Bar. There are tons of uses for this item, but if you’re unsure of where to start, you’ll find the eight best uses for hoppers below.

8Animal Products
Eggs, Milk, Wool, and Truffle Oil
Later in the game, you have almostendless animal products, and it’s very possible to end up with dozens of eggs, cheese, and wool. Unless you want to spend all day collecting and placing eggs in mayonnaise machines, you’ll need hoppers to make this process simpler.
It’s best to leave your machines outside, with a Hopper attached to each one; this way, whenever the product is ready, you may grab it. The Hoppers will continue the work from there, putting the next round of animal products into each machine.
7Kegs
Coffee Makers
Coffee is a great product. You can sell it for 150g, create triple shot espresso (which sells for 450g), give it as a gift (Harvey loves it!) or you can ingest it for a speed boost.
Coffee is created by putting five coffee beans into a keg; it doesn’t take long to create it, so slap a few kegs in a shed, and place your Hoppers. Fill them all with coffee beans, and voilà, you have an endless supply of coffee.
6Fish Smoker
Double Your Revenue
The Fish Smokeris Artisan equipment that is used to smoke fish. It can be created using ten Hardwood, one Sea Jelly, one River Jelly, and one Cave Jelly.
When you place a fish inside with a piece of coal, you’ll get a smoked fish that gives you twice the energy, and if you sell these fish, you’ll get twice the revenue as well. Load up your hopper with any unneeded fish and a bit of coal to make an easy profit.
5Furnace
Gold, Silver, Radioactive, and Copper Bars
Furnaces can create different bars that can be used to craft numerous items. you may make a Furnace with 25 Stone and 20 Copper Ore, which makes it a relatively easy recipe to make, and you can also use a Heavy Furnace, which is created using two furnaces, three iron bars, and 50 stone.
To create bars (such as Gold or Copper Bars), you have to use between one and five ore (depending on the bar) and a piece of coal in a regular furnace, or 5-25 ore and three Coal in a Heavy Furnace. Place these ore and coal pieces in the Hopper, and you’ll have endless bars.
4Geodre Crusher
After Mining Runs
After you’ve done multiple mining runs in both the Dangerous Mines andthe Skull Cavern, you’ll end up with a large supply of Geodes. You can place these Geodes in a Geode Crusher to open them up without having to visit Clint.
The Geode Crusher can be crafted with two Gold Bars, 50 Stone, and one Diamond. Once you have it, place a Hopper behind it, and put all your Geodes inside.
3Bone Mill
Create Fertilizer
The Bone Mill recipecan be obtained through the quest Fragments of the Past. To create a Bone Mill you’ll need 10 Bone Fragments, 3 Clay, and 20 Stone.
You can place any type of bone into the Bone Mill, including fossils, Tibias, Skulls, and more, and the Bone Mill will create fertilizer for you. Keep a Bone Mill or two, and some Hoppers near your crops. You can grab the fertilizer you need whenever you plant new crops.
2Deconstructors
Salvage Materials
you may get a Deconstructor from Qi’s Walnut Room for 20 Qi Gems. You place crafted items into the Deconstructor and it will give you your items back so, for example, if you can place a Rain Totem into the Deconstructor you’ll get back Truffle Oil, Hardwood, and Five Pine Tar.
There is no recipe for the Deconstructor, and it cannot be sold.
You can place multiple items within a Hopper and place them behind a Deconstructor. From there, let the Deconstructor do all the work, and collect your items as they appear.
1Slime Egg-Press
Slime For Money
The Slime Egg-Press recipe is unlocked after you reach Combat Level Six. you may craft it using 25 Coal, one Fire Quartz, and one Battery Pack, then you can place 100 Slime in the Slime Egg-Press, and you’ll get a Slime Egg.
There are a variety of Slime Eggs, and each color is worth a different amount. you may make between 1000g and 8000g per egg, so place a Hopper behind your Slime Egg-Press, leaving your slime inside, and you’ll have extra income.
