goofy super goof lorcana

This list focuses on the strength and utility of Ruby cards from Ursula’s Return.

10Goofy, Super Goof

Up, Up, And Into The Fray!

This card depicts Goofy as a superhero, ready to fight for a good cause. And that cause is winning you your match. Well, being a helping hand in that. And he will be fighting.

Goofy, Super Goof has the Rush ability, which means that he challenges other characters the turn he is placed on the board. In addition to Rush, he has an ability called Super Peanut Powers, which gives you two lore every time he challenges one of your opponent’s characters. He’s a good card to quickly give you some additional lore to gain an advantage over your rival or catch up if you’ve fallen behind.

Mulan, Elite Archer

9Mulan, Elite Archer

And You Have Her Bow

Shots will be fired by this stunning Mulan card. She has an ink cost of six, but can be shifted into the game early for only five ink. You’ll want to do this because of her ability Straight Shooter, which will grant her an additional three strength if she’s been shifted.

But that’s not all. Triple Shot makes it so that, if she deals damage to one character, she also gets to deal the same amount of damage to two other characters. So three of your opponent’s characters can be banished, or at least severely damaged in one blow, setting you up to sweep their board clean.

Disney Lorcana Snuggly Duckling

8Snuggly Duckling, Disreputable Pub

Gain Lore While You Enjoy A Nice Drink

The Snuggly Duckling is a Location card that costs two ink to play, and it will cost two ink to move characters there while it’s still standing. But how do you gain lore, you may ask?

Thanks to Routine Ruckus, anytime a character with three or more strength attempts to challenge a character of yours at this location, you gain one lore. If a character has a higher strength of six or more, then you gain three lore. Your opponent will have to make some hard choices depending on who you have at your pub.

Disney Lorcana Namaari, Heir Of Fang

7Namaari, Heir Of Fang

One Of Many Raya Cards To Come

Namaari is not new to Lorcana, in fact, she already has avery powerful Bodyguard card. But this Ruby one hits differently. Ha.

Much like Mulan, Namaari, Heir of Fang can deal damage to not one, but two targets whenever she makes a challenge thanks to her ability, Two-Weapon Fighting. Plus, she only costs three ink to play. If you pair her up with Support cards, her strength can quickly get out of hand, making her a force to reckon with.

Disney Lorcana Sisu, Emboldened Warrior

6Sisu, Emboldened Warrior

Oh, You Thought You’d Draw Some Cards, Did You?

Sisu is a source of a lot of power in Ursula’s Return, and she brings that with her Ruby card, Emboldened Warrior. This cost three card has a willpower of four, but only a strength of one. But first appearances are deceiving.

Sisu gains one strength for every card your opponents are holding onto. That’s right. Multiple opponents. While she is strong against decks focusing on card draw, she becomes even more powerful when in a multiplayer match.

Disney Lorcana Raya, Fierce Protector

5Raya, Fierce Protector

There Will Be Damage Counters

Three is a magic number for this Raya card. Three ink is needed to play her and she has a strength and willpower of three as well. But her ability, Don’t Cross Me, will help you secure a lore lead. How?

Whenever Raya challenges another character, you gain lore. The number of lore is determined by how many damaged characters you have on the field. In this set in particular, there are cards like Beast, Wounded that enter play already damaged. So you can secure lore easily with this Ruby card.

Disney Lorcana Brawl Action Card

4Brawl

Card Fight!

Brawl isan action cardthat costs three ink to play. When you play it, it activates, banishing a character of your choice that has less than two strength. But why does that make this a powerful card?

This can be done after you lower an enemy’s strength. Kida, Protector Of Atlantis is just one example of a card that can lower the strength of a character, leaving them vulnerable to Brawl. Depending on your strategy, you may want to have more than one of these Brawl cards in your deck.

Disney Lorcana Flynn Rider, Frenemy

3Flynn Rider, Frenemy

Frenemies To Lovers

If you see this card against you in the early game, get rid of it as soon as possible. If you draw this card and play it early on, then protect it. Why? After all, it’s only a two-cost card, how good could it be? Narrow Advantage is why.

Flynn’s ability gives you three lore if you have a character on the field that has more strength than anyone on your opponent’s field. You don’t have to make any challenges; they just have to be stronger, and you can rack up a nice three free lore each turn.

Disney Lorcana Sisu, Daring Visitor

2Sisu, Daring Visitor

Anyway, Back To Raya Cards

Number-wise, this card looks like it’s lacking. Sisu, Daring Visitor costs three of your ink to play and only has a strength and willpower of one. But again, her power comes from her ability, Bring on the Heat!

This ability allows you to banish a character that has one strength as soon as you play this card. This has been paired well withthe Sapphire item, Ice Block, which can lower the strength of a character by one. Oh, and was there a mention of this Sisu being Evasive?

Disney Lorcana Sisu, Empowered Sibling

Evasive is an ability that makes it so that only other cards with the same ability can challenge your character with Evasive.

1Sisu, Empowered Sibling

I’m You, But Stronger

ThisFloodbornSisu costs eight ink to play. But, she’s a shift character and can be placed on the field for six ink instead if you have another Sisu in play. Not only can she quest for three lore, she has a powerful ability that can turn the tides in your favor.

I Got This! is like Bring on the Heat! But stronger. When you play this Sisu, she can banish all opposing characters with a strength of two or lower. Once again, pairing this with Ice Block or another card that can lower strength means she has the ability to completely clear the opponents' boards.
