Summary

Taking on the Elite Four is the crème de la crème. Stacking up on potions isn’t enough, you need to have the best team possible. Having a mix of Pokémon types, such as Ground, Steel,Rockand Fire, tends to be the most successful.

WithPokémon Scarlet and Violet: The Indigo Disk, the second expansion of the latest Pokémon game, there’s the addition of loads of Pokémon, which means you have endless options to take to the elite four. You’ll be facing Crispin, the Fire-type, Amarys, the Steel-type, Drayton, the Dragon-type, and Lacey, the Fairy-type. Below are the 8 Best Pokémon Teams to Take On

Crispin of BB League Elite Four using his Tera Orb in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet The Indigo Disk.

Blaziken

Hydreigon

Crispin (team above) is the Fire-type leader. He is ranked number five in the Blueberry Academy. Since he is the first leader that you face in the Savannah Biome, he is the easiest, and the first team to use against Crispin is Ogerpon, Oranguru, Rhyperior, Hatterene, Kommo-o, and Hydreigon.

Overall, this team is strong against Crispin because it’s very balanced; Ogerpon and Rhyperior have a lot of super-effective moves against Crispin’s Pokémon. When facing Exeggutor, the most difficult to face with this team, you should use Hydreigon or Hatterene.

Dragonite

Going against Crispin is tough, but multiple teams can beat him. Fire is weak against Rock, Ground, and Water, so you should keep that in mind when making your team. Furthermore, fire is strong against Bug, Steel, Grass, and Ice, so you should avoid including these types on your team.

The second-best team to fight Crispin is Gyarados, Vaporeon, Grimmsnarl, Crawdaunt, Coalossal, and Dragonite; this team is more straightforward than your first team since you’re running with multiple Water-type Pokémon, which are strong against fire. Grimmsnarl andDragonite will help you deal with Exeggutor.

Metagross

Electivire

Amarys (team above) is the Steel-type leader, and the fourth strongest in the Blueberry Academy. She is stronger than Crispin, and a little bit tougher to beat, and the team to use against her would be Ogerpon (with the hearth flame mask) Amoonguss, Rhyperior, Skeledirge, Volcarona, and Electivire.

This team focuses on the main weakness of Steel being weak to Fire; in this battle, you have to especially watch out for Dugtrio, since it has Ground and Rock moves and is very fast, and you can use Amoongus against it. You also have to watch out for Empoleon, since it’s Water and Steel, so use Electivire to defeat it.

Chandelure

Amarys is a great rival, and, of course, many Pokémon can win against her.Steel Pokemonare weak to Fire, Fighting, and Ground and strong against Flying, Ice, Poison, and Fairy, so keep that in mind when you’re making your team!

For this team, you can use Lucario, Arboliva, Orthworm, Quagsire, Scrafty, and Chandelure. This group of Pokémon is great because Lucario, Quagsire, Scrafty, and Chandelure all have super-effective moves against Steel-type Pokémon, and Arboliva can cover against Empoleon, who poses a threat to your other Pokémon.

Orthworm is great because it has an incredibly high defense, and Arboliva can learn Earthpower, which is a great move against Amarys.

Axcadrill

Toxapex

The third member of the Elite Four is Lacey (team above), the Fairy-type leader; Fairy-type Pokémon are incredibly versatile, which makes this team tough, as these Pokémon have both good offensive moves and support moves. The team to use against Lacey is Scizor, Metagross, Revavroom, Slowbro, Amoonguss, and Toxapex.

This team is straightforward, as Fairy-type Pokémon are weak to poison and steel, and you will use that advantage to claim victory. The Pokémon you have to watch out for the most on her team is Galarian Slowbro since he has moves to deal with your steel Pokémon, and you must use a Kantonian Slowbro and Amoonguss to deal with it.

Toxtricity

Lacey uses Fairy-type Pokémon, which are strong against Fighting, Dragon, and Dark; even though Fairy is weak to steel and poison, they’re generally a very strong type, and hard to beat. Therefore, it’s good to have multiple options to defeat her.

The second team you should take to verse Lacy with is Bronzong, Kingambit, Skarmory, Munkidori, Glimmora, and Toxtricity. This team uses steel and poison as your primary way of dealing with her Pokémon, and your biggest worry with this team is Excadrill, as his Ground-type moves are the biggest threat to your party, and he has the potential to knock your Pokémon out in one move.

Drake’s Dragonite Frowning

Archaludon

Frosslass

The final member of the Elite Four, and by far the most difficult, is Drayton (team above). His specialty is Dragon-type Pokémon, and the first team you’ll need to defeat Dayton are Sylveon, Hatterene, Alolan Ninetails, Clefable, Mamoswine, and Frosslass.

Every Pokémon except Sceptile is a Dragon-type on Dayton’s team, so focusing on Fairy and Ice is the right move. You only have to worry about Archaludon, who isn’t weak to Ice, so make sure a Fairy-type Pokémon fights against him.

Crabominable

Fighting against Drayton’s Pokémon can be difficult! Dragon-type Pokémon are only super effective against other Dragon-type Pokémon; however, Dragon-type Pokémon are often resistant to multiple other types, like Fire, Water, Electric, and Grass. Dragon-types are weak to Fairy, Grass, and Dragon.

The second team to fight against Dayton would include a Glaceon, Klefki, Cetitan, Florges, Tinkaton, and Crabominable. These Pokémon fight against Drayton’s weaknesses. Instead of leaning into Fairy Pokémon, this team had more Ice Pokémon, and you have more support move options between Klefki, Florges, and Cetitan
