Silent But Deadly

Do you enjoybeing stealthy in games? Ninja in Fallout 4 is one of the best perks associated with the agility category. Each level of the perk gives you a buff in damage. However, rather than being a solid number added to your damage, it acts as a multiplier.

Maxing out the skill gives you a 3.5x multiplier toward ranged sneak attacks and a whopping 10x multiplier for melee attacks. This can make it easy to get one-hit kills on many of your enemies.

7Bonus Move - Fallout And Fallout 2

More Action More Wins

The early Fallout games play significantly differently than the later ones. Rather than being a first-person RPG, the first two games offered a more tabletop-like experience. When dealing with encounters, it also feels more turn-based.

This can take some getting used to with limited movements that allow you to attack or move your character out of the way. The Bonus Move perk makes life easier as you gain more freedom and control during a fight. It can also help you stay alive when you’re taking a beating.

4Critical Bank - Fallout 4

Stay On Target

Critical Bank is a perk found in Fallout 4. It makes getting critical hits easier by allowing you to save the shot for when you need it the most. Combo this with a high-luck stat and you’ll almost always have at least one critical shot saved up for the bigger enemies.

This can help you out in the early game to take down deadlier enemies in a pinch. The more you upgrade the skill, the more shots you can save up, making you the deadliest person in the Commonwealth.

3Sniper - Fallout and Fallout 2

Long Range Victory

Critical hits play an even more crucial role in the original games, with the percentage allowing you to bypass some of the harder enemies. It can also knock down the threat count so you don’t get swarmed.

In later games, the perk can be substituted with raw power. Sniper lets you keep your distance in the first two games, where your moves are limited, and those extra spaces can make the difference between life and death. Sniper also has a melee counterpart called slayer.

Fallout New Vegas Jury Rigging Perk Description relating that similar weapons can be used to repair one another

2Jury Rigging - Fallout New Vegas

Worlds Greatest Mechanic

One of the most vital parts of survival in the wasteland is keeping your weapons tidy. This means using duplicate weapons as repair material. This can get tricky with rarer weapons that don’t drop as often and are harder to maintain.

The Jury Rigging perk makes fixing your weapon easier. Rather than needing duplicates, it allows you to use any weapon for repairs as long as they’re at least the same type. Suddenly, even the most common weapons dropped by enemies become excellent material for repairs.

1Grim Reaper’s Sprint - Fallout 3

Fallout’s Most Broken Perk

Grim Reapers Sprint is one of the best perks you can get in Fallout 3. So good in fact, it got nerfed in later titles. Every time you get a kill, your VATS will replenish. This leads to one of the best exploits in any Fallout game.

Getting your damage output high enough can start a gameplay loop giving you infinite VATS. Use Vats to land headshots without taking damage. When you get the kill, your VATS replenish, allowing you to demolish whole groups of enemies without breaking a sweat.
