Summary
Manor Lordsis a medievalcity-builderthat tests your management skills and even your creativity to their highest levels. While it may seem very straightforward, there are a lot of intricacies about this game that make it so good and there are also custom-built mods that add further to the fun.
While most of these mods consist of quality of life changes, some of them also add balance changes to the game to make your experience a lot better. Just remember that as the game is in early access, you will have to keep updating these mods as more updates to the game come out.

Storage is always a big problem in Manor Lords and this mod by Joe Exocet fixes this problem to an extent. Buildings can become too full very easily, especially in the early game, and this means that they won’t be able to hold any more items, whichcan completely ruin your production capacity.
This mod vastly increases the storage capacity of the storage houses as well as slightly improves the capacities of other buildings such as the Market Stalls, which fixes this annoying problem of storage.

9FreeSkills
The Skill Tree of Manor Lords is very well-developed and getting the required Development Points to unlock and upgrade every skill is a fun yet challenging experience. As fun as it is, not every player wants to go through it,as upgrading your plotsto unlock the development points to then unlock the upgrades can be a hassle.
This mod by Fasul2k completely bypasses this system and lets you unlock all the upgrades in the game from the go. While this is probably not the best way to play the game, it is a good way to enjoy it if you’re low on time.
8More Resources
Another mod that makes life in Manor Lords a lot easier is the More Resources mod by Spartan2659. This modincreases the number of resources you receive from each source, which means you will be able to get a lot moremeat, flour, honey, leather, firewood, and almost every item in the game.
It also comes with a variety of different custom modes that let you choose how many resources you want to get, so you can either use the overpowered mode where you get a lot of items, or the balanced mode which doesn’t go too overboard.
7Increased Tree Growth Rate
This mod increases the growth rate of trees, which can feel quite slow in the vanilla game. This can help you gain a lot more wood, which isa very important resource in the gamefor trading as well as building.
There are a variety of settings you’re able to choose from, with the 5x setting being recommended for the best experience.
This mod will only work if you start a new save file and not in your original save.
6Increased Garrison Limit
As its name suggests, the Increased Garrison Limit mod increases the number of Garrisons you can build from one to four.As the Garrisons dictate how many soldiers you can have in your town, this is a very big change, and it makes it a lot easier to defend your towns.
Having a larger retinue is not only good enough for defending your town, but it is also cool to see such a large army in your town and adds to the Medieval theme of the game to make it feel even more realistic.
5Simple Manor Lords Mod Menu
Unlike many of the other mods that focus on increasing a specific aspect of the game, the Simple Manor Lords Menu mod letsyou customize a lot of the features and pretty much make the resource part of the game as overpowered as you want.
you’re able to set the amount of storage you want to have as well as how many development points, approval, influence, king’s favor, and everything else that you can think of adjusting, including the gamespeed.
4Game of Thrones Coat of Arms
Manor Lords is quite reminiscent toGame of Thronesin many ways and, while there aren’t many mods that incorporate the characters or the buildings of the iconic show into the game, this mod does allow you to represent the coat of arms of your favorite GOT families.
This mod pack consists of the coats of arms of theLannister, Targaryen, Stark, Baratheon, and almost all the major housesin Game of Thrones. These are also very easy to load up and can be easily done by following the instructions on the mod page.
3Better Archers
Archers aren’t the most effective fighters in Manor Lords, especially in the current state of the game. While we are expecting them to get some major buffs as time goes on, this mod does a good job of increasing their stats and making them a little bit more balanced till then.
You get to choose from a variety of settings, withsome of them allowing you to increase the range of their shots, and some increasing their damage range and even their melee damage.
2Eco Rebalance
The early access nature of the game does mean that it’s not yet well-balanced.The economic system of the game has a lot of flawsand farming often feels quite useless as you usually end up trading for food, especially as you grow your settlements further.
This mod buffs farming, so you get a lot more grains from every wheat, which makes the food system a lot more balanced. There are also other changes, such as the adjustment of the price of ale and barley, the removal of the need for dyes and many other balancing changes.
1Build Everything
As the name suggests, this mod allows you to build everything you want to in Manor Lords. As you start off the game, you are quite limited in the type of buildings you’re able to make and this mod removes all those restricitons.
Do note that you will still have to spend the required development points if you want to build upgrades. This mod makes life a lot easier and isperfect for casual players who are just looking to have some fun and build.
