All the armor, weapons, and helmets in Helldivers 2 have specific stats, meaning that certain items will be better than others. With that being said, we have rated this list based on visual appearance only.

10FS-38 Eradicator Helmet

Inspired by bothStar WarsandHalo, the FS-38 Eradicator Helmet is a classic choice for anyone who is a fan of these two pieces of media. Similar to Master Chief’s famous green and gold armor, this helmet is prominently dark green with a large golden visor that will shine bright on the battlefield.

Unlike other pieces of armor and helmets in the game, the Eradicator Helmet is relatively sleek, making it look like an elevated version of the base pieces you start the game with.

9Combat Technician Helmet

If you are a fan of helmets that include futuristic visors, then the Combat Technician Helmet is right up your alley. Specifically, this helmet is completely black, with three large red lenses that give the mask an eerie and technological appearance.

Luckily, this helmet is unlocked for free through the first Warbond, or battlepass, named Helldivers Mobilize. If you want to unlock this helmet for your character, then ensure to completecertain missions to earn medals, which are used to unlock items in Warbonds.

8CE-27 Groundbreaker Helmet

The CE-27 Groundbreaker Helmet is included with a recent Warbond, called Democratic Detonation. This specific Warbond is centered around explosive weaponry, so the armor and helmets are bulkier in appearance to protect your character from these explosions.

The Groundbreaker Helmet is pretty unique compared to others in the game, because it comes with a yellow top and a filtration unit. The yellow portion of the helmet makes it look like it was originally intended for construction in space, while the filtration unit on the side of the mask gives your character an industrial vibe.

7SA-25 Steel Trooper Helmet

The SA-25 Steel Trooper Helmet combines both old and futuristic aesthetics into one single piece of armor. This helmet is completely black, with an overall sleek design and a reflective dark visor that hides your character’s true appearance.

The main feature of this helmet is the small red piece that protrudes from the visor, which would presumably hold valuable information for your character to look at during an intense battle. Remember that while this small red piece certainly looks important, it is purely a visual cosmetic.

6EX-03 Prototype 3 Helmet

Released alongside the Cutting Edge Warbond, the EX-03 Prototype 3 Helmet is a futuristic option for your soldier. This helmet is completely tan, and is the first helmet on this list with absolutely no area for your character to look out of.

Instead, the very front of the mask is a pure black area, with a small camera lens in the center that would theoretically project an image of the battlefield onto the interior of the helmet. If you want to use a piece of equipment that gives you an otherworldly, almost alien appearance, then consider purchasing the Prototype armors and helmets.

5Fortified Commando Helmet

If you are looking to play a tank character on the battlefield, then the Fortified Commando Helmet will seriously protect you from large amounts of damage. This helm is completely decked out in a solid gray color, which even covers the entire visor in a single monochromatic shade.

Since this helmet is relatively simple and only features one color, it is a good cosmetic option to purchase with Super Credits, since it can easily be combined with any other colored cosmetic in the game.

4Hero Of The Federation Helmet

Looking to wear something glamorous while fighting againsta horde of aliens?Luckily, the Hero Of The Federation Helmet is available for purchase in the Super Store, and this piece of equipment is seriously decked out with golden accents.

This helmet’s most important feature is the visor made out of pure gold, which will shine bright no matter where you are fighting. Luckily, the entire helmet is not golden, and instead features two different shades of gray that break up the brighter parts of this piece of armor.

3SC-30 Trailblazer Helmet

Similar to the Technician Helmet, the SC-30 Trailblazer Helmet is another piece of equipment that utilizes cameras in place of a visor. However, this specific helm only has two camera lenses, and a large tan area that covers the soldier’s mouth.

Furthermore, this is currently the only helmet in the game to include a hood over the helm, making this the perfect cosmetic choice for anyone looking to roleplay as a stealthy warrior or scout.

2EX-00 Prototype X Helmet

Similar to the Prototype 3 armor, the Prototype X Helmet is another piece of futuristic equipment that you can use after purchasing a premium Warbond. This helmet is significantly sleeker than the other futuristic version, and is colored with an agreeable dark and light shade of gray.

This helmet also has a small flashlight on the side, making the entire helmet asymmetrical. Similar to other items within this Warbond, equipping them will give your character a creepy appearance, almost like these items were made from the dangerous aliens you are tasked with defeating.

1DP-53 Savior Of The Free Helmet

While some soldiers may prefer a more subtle piece of equipment, the DP-53 Savior Of The Free Helmet is the preferred piece of equipment among show-offs. Even though this piece of equipment may be just a tiny bit pretentious, how could you blame someone for wanting to wear this magnificent helmet?

This helm is mainly made up of a pure black visor, and two large wings that crest up the side of the helmet, akin to a Roman soldier’s metal helmet. Sadly, only players who have purchased the Super Citizen Edition, or a more expensive version of the game, can unlock this helmet, so remember to spend your money wisely if you want to look regal.
