This hefty expansion is packed with ten new quests, all bound in a snazzy red book. The story is classic HeroQuest fare: save the King from the clutches of evil Morcar!

The cardboard elements in this expansion are top-notch. We’re talking stairs that add a pseudo-3D element to your dungeon crawls and other cool doodads to bring your adventures to life. There’s even a quest that’ll have you channelingyour inner Indiana Jones, dodging a perilous rolling ball trap.
Now, the new monster minis are a bit of a mixed bag. You get some fresh Orks, Kobolds, and Fimirs to add to your collection. But be warned, they’re the same cast as the base game minis, which means those awkward square bases are still here. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s something to keep in mind.

The depths of the jungle bring you two new heroes to play and 16 quests to play them in. Best of all, Jungles of Delthrak offers unparalleled replayability with the choose-your-own-adventure mechanic for fresh gameplay every time.
For heroes, we have the Berserker, a character with a high body score and a frenzy ability for when they are on their last legs in combat. Second, there is the Explorer, with danger sense and trapsmith to avoid nasty surprises.
Miniatures and terrain in this expansion are fantastic, with great figures that have clear details. With terrain, there are a variety of tiles, including outdoor variations that are helpful for setting up wilderness adventures.
There are few things to complain about with this expansion, although there seems to be a consensus on a few rule criticisms. Regardless of some community nitpicks, this is a fantastic expansion to add to your collection.
