The rumors were true.PlayStation’s Days of Play event is back for 2024. That was never in any doubt really as the event has happened at this time of year, every year, for the past seven years now. You can always get PlayStation stuff for less if you look hard enough, but Days of Play tends to crank things up a notch. Whether you’re after a few new games, some accessories, or even an entirely new console, this is the one time of year when you’re almost guaranteed to get something for less.
Like most other big sales, the only problem with Days of Play is sifting through everything to receive a price cut in the quest to find stuff you actually want. Even though there are deals to be found in the PlayStation Store itself, Days of Play spans multiple retailers. That’s where we come in. Below we’ve listed what we think are the best deals of Days of Play 2024 complete with links to store pages so you can buy them without having to track them down yourselves. There will be more deals added to this article throughout Days of Play - which comes to an end on June 12 - so keep checking back if you want more or if you can’t find anything you like.

PS5 Consoles And The PS VR2
PS5 Slim
The PS5 Slim offers a sleek, compact design with a 30% volume reduction, 1TB storage, and a detachable Blu-ray drive, maintaining the original PS5’s power in a more space-efficient package.
PlayStation VR2
PlayStation’s next-generation headset, the PS VR2. Complete with eye-tracking technology and sense controllers.
The biggest savings in the Days of Play sale are on hardware. Three and a half years into thePS5’s lifecycle, and according to PlayStation, we’re already past the halfway point. Not only do you no longer have to wait in eternal queues for a PS5 like you did at launch, but you can get a newer model than those who queued three years ago for $50 less than you’d usually pay. If you want a PS5 for even less and you don’t care about a disc drive, the digital edition of the console is another $50 cheaper, down to less than $400.

PlayStation continues its quest to make a dent in the VR corner of the gaming world too and has cut the price of its one-year-old PS VR2 headset by $100. It will still cost you the same as a discounted PS5 - and you need a PS5 to use it - but if it’s something you’ve been eyeing up, now’s the time to buy it. Especially after PlayStation revealedit will be adding PS VR2 games to PS Plus Premium, the first five dropping on the highest tier of the service in June.
PlayStation Plus
PlayStation Plus is a subscription service from Sony. It comes in three paid tiers - Essential, Extra, and Premium, and offers free monthly games to own, a catalog of hundreds of games, cloud storage, discounts, and online multiplayer gameplay.
God of War Ragnarok
WHERE TO PLAY
Following on from 2018’s quasi-reboot, God of War Ragnarok continues the journey of Kratos and his son Atreus. This time, they must go up against the pantheon of Norse gods, culminating in a showdown for the ages.

An action-adventure game from Team Ninja, Rise of the Ronin takes place during the final years of Japan’s Edo period. In the midst of the country’s turmoil, you play the titular ronin on a journey of your own making.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
Final Fantasy Rebirth is the second part of the FF7 Remake project. It continues the story of Cloud Strife, a former SOLDIER turned mercenary who joins Avalanche, a group of eco-terrorists seeking to save the planet from the malevolent Sephiroth. As the party pushes out of Midgar, leaving the Shinra Corporation devastated, where will their paths take them?
The Last Of Us Part II Remastered
The Last Of Us Part 2’s remaster is more than just a better-looking version of the original game. Enhanced for PS5, the remaster also adds a roguelike mode, DualSense support, and three lost levels that were cut from the original game during early development.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Spider-Men Peter Parker and Miles Morales face the ultimate test of strength inside and outside the mask as they fight to save the city, each other and the ones they love, from the monstrous Venom and the dangerous new symbiote threat.Explore an expansive Marvel’s New York with faster web-swinging and the all-new Web Wings, quickly switching between Peter and Miles to experience different stories, epic new abilities and high-tech gear.Wield Peter’s symbiote abilities and Miles’ explosive bio-electric powers in battle against new and iconic Marvel Super Villains – including an original take on a symbiote-infused Venom, the ruthless Kraven the Hunter, the volatile Lizard, and more from the Marvel Rogues’ Gallery.
Cyberpunk 2077
Developed by CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person action role-playing game based on the Cyberpunk tabletop RPG. You must choose your path through life in the lawless Night City, while contending with the memories of Johnny Silverhand (Keanu Reeves).
Let’s get to what the bulk of you are likely here for - the games. We’ve somehow found ourselves living in the middle of the free game era and the $70 game era at the same time. Picking and choosing what to play from the latter is a big deal, and anything you don’t spend $70 on at launch will have to wait until it’s on sale. Thanks to Days of Play, some games that were released not that long ago are already available for less. Perhaps most notablyFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Released just three months ago, you’re able to currently pick up the early Game of the Year contender for as little as $52.49.

The Last Of Us Part 2 Remastered, another 2024 release, is also on sale during Days of Play. There are nearly 1,000 games included in the sale to kick off the event across multiple retailers, and I’d hazard to guess that number will creep into the four-figure range by the time Days of Play ends on June 12.
Covers And Accessories
PS5 Console Covers
The PS5’s cover can be removed and replaced with ones of various colors. Available for the original model or the newer, slimmer model of the console in silver, red, blue, or black.
Logitech G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals
The Logitech G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals set is the perfect way to control your favorite driving game if you want to experience it in the most immersive way possible.
Already got a PS5 signed up to PS Plus with all the games you could ever need? There might still be something for you during Days of Play. I am, of course, talking about accessories. The PS5 can do a lot all by itself, but it can still be improved upon. Whether that be via a racing wheel to make driving games more immersive, or a cover to make your PS5 look different from everyone else’s boring white ones. I’m sure more accessory deals will go live throughout Days of Play, so keep your eyes peeled on this section of this guide in particular between now and June 12.
