It’s also aBook Of Poweryou’ll come across often. Save them and trade for one of the three fishing jellies. These jellies can help you with crafting and, if you don’t like fishing often, you’ll be in a jelly bind and trading these books in will help.

100 Wood

Wood can be hard to come by at times. Between chopping down nearly every tree or not having the money to spend at Robin’s, there may be times you’re running low on this all important resource.

If you come across any copies ofWoodcutter’s Weeklythat you don’t need, trade them to the Bookseller for 100 pieces of wood. This is never a bad move, because so many things require wood for crafting and progression.

Slime Egg-Press Or Slime Incubator

Slaying monsters can award you with, you guessed it, Monster Compendiums. They drop these like loot, and you can keep them to trade in to the Bookseller.

If you trade two of these Books, you can get aSlime Egg-PressorSlime Incubator, depending on the Bookseller’s inventory that day. This will save you a lot of resources to make either of these items on your own.

20 Coal

Grinding for coal can be a hassle. Killing so many dust sprites that don’t always appear in the Mines. And it’s so expensive to buy coal fromClint, especially after he raises his prices.

So being able to trade in aMining Monthlyfor 20 coal can make or break your furnace operations or your crafting goals. Just like wood, it’s an important material that you can run out of really quickly.

Different verse, same as the first. Hardwood is another resource that is so key to progression of the game and your farm, but after you clear out your farm, the most hardwood you’ll usually be getting is from the Secret Woods.

TheTreasure Appraisal Guideis a powerful Book Of Power that will make it so that when you sell artifacts, they sell for three times their original price.

So saving these books to turn them into the Bookseller can either give you three spicy eel, which you may use in the Skull Cavern, or you can get artifact troves, which you can break open for the artifacts and then sell for three times their price. It’s like it was perfectly planned that way. Hm.
