Summary

Players who bought theBaldur’s Gate 3Deluxe Edition on Xbox have received two copies of the game - the physical one and a code for the digital version. That code was supposed to unlock the Digital Deluxe DLC, not the full game.

However, Larian Studios is not going to rescind any spare copies. It’s instead letting Xbox players keep both versions of the game, while also sending out new codes for the Digital Deluxe DLC which should grace your email inboxes over the next few days.

“If you have already redeemed your Digital Deluxe DLC code prior to this message, you will be able to keep the digital version of the game that you’ve been granted access to, and we will send all Xbox Series X/S Deluxe Edition owners a new Digital Deluxe DLC code with the correct content. We apologise for the delay”.

Expectedly, this is going down incredibly well with fans, some of whom have now gifted their spare codes to friends and family so that they canshare Baldur’s Gate 3 with even more people.
