Today marks the final week where you can find Archie beforeDestiny 2’sFinal Shape expansion. If you find Archie at any point before Final Shape, you’ll unlock an exclusive shader, ten Trophies of Bravery, and a unique lore card. It’s not much, but completing this quest will only take a few minutes at most.
This week, Archie has made his way to Neomuna to learn how the Cloud Striders use hoverboards, or at least that’s what Ada-1 infers. You’ll need to find him in four of Neomuna’s notable locations. Bring Archie back home, claim your rewards, and give everyone’s favorite robot companion one last pet before The Final Shape releases.
Neomuna’s map is currently bugged and won’t show player icons in side regions—Maya’s Retreat, Veil Containment, etc. We’ll be showing you how to access each location to make this guide as easy to follow as possible.
Where In Neomuna Is Archie?
Ada-1 might be the worst dog sitter the Tower has ever seen. Archie has gone missing yet again this week, leaving their usual spot for the neon-lit streets of Neomuna. Once again, it’s your job to find him. The good news is that Archie isn’t hiding anywhere particularly obscure this week. You’ll find Archie in the following locations:
Nimbus' Post Location
Nimbus' post is the same location where all your Neomuna action figures are stored.Fast travel to Strider’s Gate and jump down the gravity lift.Enter the building on your right to find Archie’s paw prints.
The Veil Location
The Veil Containment activity isnotwhere Archie is located. You’ll need to reach the Veil from the Neomuna patrol space.
Archie decided to visit the Veil, which is located in Irkalla Complex on the southwest corner of the map. You can’t fast travel here, so you’ll need to go on quite the journey.
Head to the western edge of the Zephyr Concourseto start. Follow the path to reach Esi Terminal, then take a left immediately when you run up the stairs. Continue running down the path, jump up the short wall, then continue to run through the apartment complex. Hop across the nearby rooftops, and you should reach the portal in Irkalla Complex that leads you to Veil Containment.
When you reach the entrance of Veil Containment, you’ll be ambushed by a Tormentor and a small army of Cabal, nothing a good build can’t handle.Consider using a Sniper Rifleor Forerunnerto kill the Tormentor.Clear out the enemies, then interact with the paw prints just outside the building.
Where Guardians Mastered Strand
If you remember that cheesy Strand montage cutscene in the Lightfall campaign, that’s where you’ll need to go next.Make your way to Maya’s Retreat, located east of Liming Harbor.You’ll want to follow the path til the very end, running through small groups of Vex as you traverse diamond-encrusted cliff faces and Neomuna structures. It’s the same route as the Hypernet Current strike.
Once you reach the end of Maya’s Retreat, you’ll need todefeat a Colossusand their small army of Cabal allies to uncover Archie’s location. A Heavy weapon and Super should make short work of them. Interact with the paw prints near the small cluster of flora to continue the quest.
Archie’s Prize Location
There’s no better place to earn prizes than Neomuna’s dedicated gaming arcade.You’ll find Archie towards the end ofthe Thrilladrome Lost Sector, located in Liming Harbor.Just before you enter the portal that takes you to the boss, turn right and head towards the claw machines. You’ll find Archie standing right next to one of the machines. Give him a well-deserved pet, then head back to Ada-1 in the Tower to finish the quest.
