Destiny 2’sInto the Light update has something new happening each week until the launch of The Final Shape. One of this update’s smaller pieces of content is the weekly search for Archie, the Tower’s favorite robot companion. Each week, Archie will venture off to a random destination, and it’s up to you to find him.
Uncovering Archie’s location only takes a few minutes, awards ten Trophies of Bravery, and can be completed once per character each week. This short guide will explain how to start the quest, give a quick overview of where Archie’s gone, and showcase how to complete each step in this quest.
Where In The Dreaming City Is Archie?
Archie has decided to explore the Dreaming City this week, a destination renowned for its secrets. Fortunately, Archie’s quest this week is rather straightforward if you’ve explored the Dreaming City in the past. Per usual,visit Archie’s spot in the Tower, then talk to Ada-1 to start the quest.Here’s where you’ll need to go this week:
Blind Well Location
You’ll find Archie’s first locationat the staircase just before you enter the Blind Well.You can simplymatchmake into the Blind Well activity, turn around when you spawn, and run down the entry stairsto find the pawprints. You can also reach this location from the massive structure in the eastern end of Divalian Mists.
Mysterious Bones Location
The skull Archie visited is none other than Huginn, the Ahamkara skull that was the source of Queensfoil Tinctures back in Forsaken.You can find the skull in the underbelly of Harbinger’s Seclude.To get there:
Archie’s pawprints will be at the foot of an Awoken statue that’s adjacent to Huginn’s chamber.
Sound Of A Cat’s Purring Location
This step requires you tofindthe Dreaming City cat in Divalian Mists.You’ll find this catinside a cave on the northern cliffisde of Divalian Mists.Drive to the northern edge of the zone, look straight down the cliff, and look for a flat patch of grass you can drop down to. Enter the cave and run through any small opening until you find Archie’s pawprints.
The Queen’s Location
Accessing The Oracle Engine
You need to complete the “Gateway Between Worlds” bounty from Petra Venj before you can find Archie. This bounty requires you to complete two T4 Blind Well runs. Complete a T3 run, then insert an Unstable Charge of Light to summon an extra boss. Killing them counts as a T4 clear.
Archie’s final stop was theQueen’s Court, a hidden location that you may only enter once you’ve obtained an Offering to the Oracle.Complete the “Gateway Between Worlds” bounty from Petra, thenmake your way to the Spine of Keres. From the Divalian Mists, head north until the dirt path forks. Travel left past the geode tunnel to reach the Spine of Keres
You will be ambushed by a small group of Taken when you arrive. They don’t pose too much of a threat; use your Heavy and Super to melt the Ogre. Head inside and run up the stairs until you reach a Techeun. She’ll be standing beside a terminal you can interact with.
Deposit your Offering to the Oracle, and the spinning spherical device in the center of the room will open. Run inside to reach the Queen’s Court. Pet Archie, claim your loot, then talk to Ada-1 back in the Tower.
