Summary
We’re in the middle of a weird era in the industry where video games are free, but they’re also more expensive than they have ever been. If your tastes lean more towards the $70 industry standard thanFortnite’s free-to-play model, as soon as a few games you want to play release in quick succession, the cost starts to stack up. Lucky for you,Amazon’s buy two get one 50 percent off saleis back, and while it applies to items site-wide, the video game corner of the sale is looking particularly appealing this time around.
Topping the bill are a couple of games that are only a few months old. Great news for those of you who did get caught up by the flurry of big releases in the first few months of this year and are now trying to catch up without spending over the odds.Dragon’s Dogma 2is one of the biggest games included in the sale. A $70 title you can either get for less or use to get something else in the sale for less. Whichever of the two eligible items in the cart is the cheapest will be the one that gets its price cut by 50 percent.

Also on the list of video games included in the sale isPersona 3 Reload. The remake was released at the end of January and since it’s a Persona game, it promised to occupy up to and above 100 hours of your time. Understandable that you waltzed right past it without looking if you were busy withLike A Dragon: Infinite Wealthor readying yourself forFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthat the time. Now you can get it for considerably less as not only is Persona 3 Reload included in the buy one get one half-price offer, but it’s also on sale for less than $40.
Dragon’s Dogma 2
WHERE TO PLAY
Dragon’s Dogma is the long-anticipated sequel to Capcom’s action RPG. Once again taking on the role of the Arisen, the game promises full customization in how you create your character and play through your story.
WWE 2K24and the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 are also included in the sale, and while I don’t know how long you’ve got to take advantage of it, if there are games in there you like and want for less, I’d act fast. I’ve already seen some top titles disappear from the options available includingStellar BladeandHelldivers 2. Also keep checking back while the sale is live as even if there’s nothing you like the look of right now, those games might return and others might be added before it ends.

Persona 3 Reload
Persona 3 Reload is a ground-up remake of the RPG classic, aligning the aesthetics with the more recent Persona 5. It does not contain any of the changes or extra content from Persona 3 FES or Persona 3 Portable.
Amazon will have a lot of video game deals available soon with 2024’s Prime Day event hitting any day now. Usually taking place at some point during the first two weeks of July, the date of this year’s Prime Day hasn’t been confirmed yet, but we will have guides detailing all of the best deals during the build-to and then during the event here at TheGamer.
