Once you have obtained your castle, the world ofEiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroestruly opens up. As you promised Perrielle, you’ll now need to raise an army. But you won’t need to go far. You’ll find that there are a surprising number of recruits right at your doorstep.
From the characters hanging out in the town itself to the fine folks roaming the Dappled Forest to the surprising number of people sulking in the not-so-Abandoned Mine, this guide will show you where you need to go, and what you need to do, in order to recruit the many heroes in the Near Castle area of Eiyuden Chronicle.
When it is clear which chapter a character can be recruited from, we have included that information below. However, this can be a touch ambiguous, so we aren’t able to provide that information foreverycharacter.
Requirements
Obtained your castle
You will likely have already run into Hiro whiletraversing the Abandoned Mine. Once you have gained your castle, go back and talk to him. He will happily join your cause.
Three Iron Ore
Ormond is hanging out in the Abandoned Mine. He is right at the end of it, so if you enter through the well entrance from your castle, he will be right there. He will request that you retrieve him three iron ore. Once you do, he will join you.
To reach the Abandoned Mine from your castle, head to the first floor. From there, head through the central door, this will take you to the graveyard. Now, in the graveyard, interact with the well. This will take you to the Abandoned Mine.
The Palenight Mail
You will find Galdorf at the entrance of the Abandoned Mine (coming from Grum). He’s looking forThe Palenight Mail. Thankfully, there is a set lying next to where you found Ormond (at the Castle end of the Abandoned Mine). Just give him the armor and he will happily join you.
Castle (Near northeast section of the surrounding town)
None
Martha is milling about the right side of the town that surrounds your castle. She’s close to where your Inn is located
20 pieces of lumber
Once you enter the dappled woods, take a right. You should run directly into Kerrin. All you need to recruit her is 20 pieces of lumber. If you don’t have them already, it won’t take long at all to collect them in the Dappled Woods.
Castle Level 2
The only requirement for recruiting Leon appears to be leveling up your castle.Once your castle has reached the second level, head for the west gate of the castle town. Leon will be passed out in front of it. Talk to him and he will agree to join your cause.
Once you have reached the Euchrisse, the Land of Water chapter of the game, you’ll be able to find Chron standing near the front entrance of your Castle Town. Simply talk to him and he will join you.
Recruit Marisa
Speak to the villager in Altverden
Once you have recruited Marisa (done by simply progressing the story), put her in your party andhead to Altverden Village.Once there,speak to the villagers near the entrance. One of them will speak to you about a griffon being sighted. Now, head to the Abandoned Mine through the Grum-county entrance (with Marisa still in your party). Work your way east, and stick to the southmost path. It won’t be long before you run into Aleior. Once you do, the mighty bird will join you.
Soon after losing Yarnaan Allaby will relocate ro the Heroes Den (your inn). Just go there and talk to her. She’ll happily join your army.
Reached Castle Level 2
Have recruited Yusuke, Francesca, and Yume
Once you have gotten your castle to the second level, you will be able to start bumping into Faye and recruit her. You’ll find her in three locations…

Have recruited Enoe
The only requirements for recruiting Fume are to be able to reach him in the Dappled Forest (sections unlock as you progress through the game) and to have recruited Enoe.
Rune-Lens shop Level 2
Milana will show up in the Rune-Lens once you have increased the level of your Rune-Lens shop to level 2.
Castle Level 4
Selbineth joins after you do your first run in the mysterious room. Which means you won’t be acquiring her until rather late in the game.
