InEiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, a seventh party member serves the role ofSupport. They won’t appear during active combat, but they can comment on things in towns and such. More importantly, they offer specific boons to your lineup. These boons are generally noncombat-oriented, as befits their role. But not everything in Eiyuden Chronicle involves bludgeoning Imperials.
We’ve compiled a list of the various Support characters in the game, when you’ll acquire them, and what they’ll bring to the table during your adventures against the war-stirring villains of the land. There’s no wrong choice here, but depending on what you need, there’s probably someone just for you.
Since this guide covers characters who can be recruited all the way through the story, it will contain spoilers. Sorry!

Field Party Formation
Enables you to form parties at save points.
Cassandrawill join the Resistance automaticallyfollowing the Battle for Eltisweiss,the first war engagement.
Perrielle
Go Get ‘Em!
Will sometimes appear before battle to raise allies’ attack and action speed.
Perriellewill join the Resistance automaticallyonce you’ve rendezvouzed with her inthe Euchrisse capital of Hishahn.
Gatherer’s Talent
Slightly increases resource acquisitions at all collection points.
Head toBounty Hillonce it’s an available destination. You’ll meetWyler; complete his quest bysearching nearby areas. Marinjoins alongside him.
Woodcutter’s Nose
Increases resource acquisitions specifically at logging points.
Head toDappled Forestonce it’s an available destination. Turn right to meet Kerrin.Gather 20 Lumber for herand she’ll join.
I’ll Be Your Forager
Increases resource acquisitions specifically at food ingredient points.
Explore your castleonce it’s been unlocked. Martha can be foundoutdoors toward the eastern exit.
Miner’s Pride
Increases resource acquisitions specifically at mining points.
After unlocking the castle,return to the Abandoned Mine, and you’ll find Ormond in the top-left portion of the screen nearest the castle exit.Collect three iron orefor him.
Prey’s Aura
Increases resource acquisitions specifically at hunting points.
Head toTwinhorne East, a town in theEuchrisse region. Pastole isnear the tool shop. He’ll join automatically.
Burst of Speed
Doubles movement speed.
Talk to her.She will want to race. Might be Speed-related? It’s possible to lose; personally,Keep at it until you win,and if you seem to keep losing, level up a bit! We’ll let you know if/when we figure out the finer details.
Food’s Up!
Will sometimes appear before combat to provide stat buffs.
Kurtz isnear the forge in Hishahn. He requires you tolocate the Grilled Tutuva recipe,Return to Treefolk Village,and talk to one of the Treefolk close to the trade shop. He’ll give it to you.
Code L
Limiter Release
Will sometimes appear before combat to elevate everyone’s starting SP by one.
Find him inDaphan Village, inside the rune shop. He requires theRune of Currents, which drops from astory boss at Old Hishahn.
The Mysterious Stowpack
Increases maximum storage capacity.
Venture toHishahnandinteract with the conspicuously large bagbehind a stall at the top-left of the city.
Stadler
All In Formation
Activate the ability to compel all allies to strike before the enemy, regardless of their respective speeds.
Stadler’s inImpershi’arc; you must complete amock battle (the war mode)to prove your mettle.
Magical Pocket Watch
Activate the ability to greatly increase your party’s action speed.
InDabavin, Rody isat the bottom portion of the town. He needs aPearl Pocket Watch. There is likely an enemy that drops this item, but we found theun-appraised base versioninside atreasure chest at the Seaside Cavern. Appraise it - either through Rody himself or elsewhere - andhand him the resultant Pearl Pocket Watch.
Cabana
Take It Easy
Will sometimes appear before combat to buff your stats - not sure exactly what. We’ll figure it out and update this!
You’ll find Cabanain Impershi’arc. You can’t miss him; he’squite clearly a capybara personhanging out by the inn.
Gentle Yet Mighty
Greatly increases maximum resource bag capacity.
Find him inYarnaan. He’s thebig blue fellow sitting down. Talk to him. He’ll want totest Nowa’s strength. This is another one we’re a bit lost on; it must be based on a stat, so if you don’t pass muster, try again later.
Unceasing Training
Doubles EXP earned after combat.
Yulin willjoin automaticallyrather late into the game. But hey, still worth having her tag along for a bit with a support ability this great.
Emergency Treatment
Restores 20 percent of the party’s HP after combat.
Find Rohan inTwinhorne West’s innat any point that it becomes available for travel.
A Song on the House
The battle music randomly changes.
Late in the game,you can find Allaby beside the pianoin Heroes' Den.
Hogan
Negotiate Ceasefire
Lets you flee without relying upon the odds of success factor; sometimes, you’ll receive baqua despite leaving.
Find Hogan in Twinhorne West; it kickstarts a side quest in which you must show him you’veearned 50,000 or more baqua from trading.
Egg Hunter
Increases the drop rate of eggfoot eggs after fights.
Mandie joins with Paquia, the eggfoot race mini-game NPC, after youacquire five eggs for Paquia at Arensideanytime after the battle for Hishahn.Eggfoots drop these in the vicinity of Arenside; you’ll need toappraise themafter acquiring them.
Douglas
Soul of Smithery
Sometimes appears to hone allies' weapons, increasing the party’s attack strength.
He’s in Eltisweiss' smitheryat any point after unlocking Seign’s campaign arc.Bring him ten iron ore, which can be found (among other places) at theAbandoned Mine.
Euma
Euchrisse Archer Volley
Activate the ability to summon forth Euchrissian archers who damage the enemy party.
Kassius
Euchrisse Cavalry Charge
Activate the ability to summon forth Euchrissian cavalry who damage the enemy party.
