Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3has launched its third season with a new week-long event. Earning XP during the first week of the season will unlock boosters and exclusive cosmetics themed around Godzilla vs. Kong. Boot up your favorite MW3 playlist, earn XP, and you’ll walk away with some new cosmetics and an exclusive weapon camo.
If this is your first event, this guide will explain how to participate in this event and cover every reward you can earn. Since this event is tied to earning XP and not specific challenges, everyone can participate, even players who only own Warzone.
What Is Godzilla X Kong: Battle For Hollow Earth?
Godzilla X Kong: Battle for Hollow Earth is a Modern Warfare 3 event that runs from April 5 to April 10.This event is similar to previous XP-focused events, requiring you to earn XP in any Modern Warfare 3 playlist to unlock exclusive cosmetic rewards, including a new weapon camo. If the event name didn’t make it obvious, these cosmetics are themed around Godzilla Vs. Kong.
The event itself requires you toearn XP in any playlist—Multiplayer,Zombies, or Warzone. XP boosters will also accelerate your progress during this event, so be sure to use any if a Double XP event isn’t already active.
Featured Operator
Completing MW3 matches with an event-themed operator skin will award a bonus 5,000 XP. While not a significant amount, this could prove useful for players who already own any Godzilla vs. Kong skins.
The following skins count as featured operators for this event: Titanus Godzilla, Kong Armor, Shimo, and Skar King. All four skins may be purchased from the CoD Store. Each bundle costs 2,400 CoD Points.
All Event Rewards
This event hasten unique rewardsyou can earn, most of which are Godzilla vs. Kong cosmetic weapon stickers, charms, and decals. The tenth and final reward isthe Heavy Metal camo, a non-animated weapon camo that can be applied to all MW2 and MW3 weapons. Earning all ten rewards will require you toearn 160,000 XPduring this event.
